You Can Teach a Code Monkey New Tricks

Thanks to a user on a discussion board on Facebook, the problem that was causing me no end of trouble on Friday is now solved.

For those trying to fix the fb:multi-friend-selector problem in FBML, this is the code that works:

&ltfb:request-form
method="post"
action="YOUR URL"
type="PAGE NAME/TITLE"
invite="true"
content="YOUR PAGE DESCRIPTION

&ltfb:req-choice
url='URL TO WHERE THE INVITED GOES TO' ' label='GO' />

">

&ltfb:multi-friend-selector
actiontext="Tell your friends about PAGE NAME"
cols="3"
rows="3"
showborder="true" />

Notes:

The line breaks above are not necessary, they are just included for clarity.
Use double quotation marks and single quotation marks as stated above - these must be accurate
YOUR URL = Your Facebook Page
PAGE NAME OR TITLE = Make this a Short Title
YOUR PAGE DESCRIPTION = The descrtiption of the page. Should be clear so the invited should know where he/she is going to
URL TO WHERE THE INVITED GOES TO = The page where the invited goes to
